The Spring 2025 Appeal was the first in our long-term partnership with Oxfam GB, delivering their seasonal integrated appeal programme.
We began by resetting the creative process for Oxfam’s appeals around more collaborative creative principles, bringing local partners and staff in South Sudan into the creative process.
The black C5 reverse window envelope carried bold typography starting to tell the story of a crisis unseen, unsafe, unjust crisis. And this ‘hidden crisis’ idea was carried through into an A3 insert, presenting an unfolding story of collective people power on carefully chosen newsprint stock.
Response was further boosted by the inclusion of simple single colour stop press insert, highlighting a recent cholera outbreak as a crisis on top of crisis.
